Eugenia Angioni, Psychotherapist

Eugenia Angioni

I am the co-founder of Ground Health and a licensed psychotherapist, having worked in diverse contexts with a wide range of clients for 8 years. My professional experience includes working in prisons as well as with victims of violence, both children and adults. My professional training has been international : the United Kingdom, Belgium, and New Zealand.

I deeply believe in the power of movement, developing myself through the sports of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and CrossFit. As a woman, I feel that physical activity and understanding one’s own body are crucial elements in developing self-confidence and the sense of strength we can experience when exploring our place in the world. But not only that… I am also drawn to the possibilities that open up when we turn our gaze inward—with love and curiosity.

It is often when we find ourselves at a standstill, faced with challenges that seem impossible to overcome, that the true work begins. A profound work that invites us to explore the hidden layers behind our daily behaviors and our way of inhabiting the world.

Recently certified in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies, I profoundly believe in the transformative power of this type of work. I combine my knowledge and experience in traditional psychotherapy with more innovative approaches. My passion is guiding people who are ready to embark on a unique journey toward inner healing—a rich and powerful process that can profoundly change individuals, helping them reconnect with their “why,” which may have been silenced in different ways.

I am Michael Cannon and I am a co-founder of Ground Health. I offer services that integrate traditional strength & conditioning training with breathwork and a guidance through the cutting edge of microdosing plant medicines for physical and mental health.

My professional background is as an academic philosopher where I have had the fortune to spend the past decade at different European universities exploring the big questions about artificial intelligence. At the same time, sports and physical training have been central to my life and lifestyle. Sure enough, I have come to find that these two things – the philosophical work and the physical work – feedback into one-another, influencing how I think and move in each.

In the world of academia, it is said that “research is me-search”. From my PhD to my research publications and public essays, my philosophy work has sought to make sense of the fact that our increasingly automated world demands and selects-for increasingly automated humans, and that this process exacts a toll on human mental health. At root, much of my academic work has been rooted in experiences of mental health challenges.

My body has not come away without its scratches either, and the way I now train is a function of the ‘me-search’ involved in healing injuries, chronic and acute. Again, I have had the fortune to enjoy 25 years of competitive hockey, including the privilege to represent Luxembourg at World Championship level and in Olympic Qualifier games, and a few years ago began a journey with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Over the years I have also instructed skiing (racing and recreational), barefoot running, CrossFit, and breathwork.

I care about discovery and development. I enjoy it too, and as part of Ground Health, it is something I am excited to be able to offer.

Why It Matters

At Ground Health, we believe that true health starts with asking “why?”
Why do we move? Why do we train? Why do we seek vitality, strength, clarity?

Ground Health is more than a training system. It’s a framework for reconnecting with your body, your breath, and your purpose.

What Makes Us Different?

Most programs focus on output.
We focus on alignment — physical, mental, emotional.

At Ground Health, we don’t just build programs. We help you reconnect with your ‘why’ and design a path that supports long-term growth and vitality. Every training is tailored to your goals, your lifestyle, and your body’s real needs.
